Old Scholars will be saddened to learn of Matthew Badger's tragic news. Matthew, was at Ayton in the late 70s (his brother Campbell was also at the school & is married to Juliet Holmes-Smith also at school in the 70s along with other members of her family.) His three children & their maternal grandparents were killed in a housefire on Christmas Day, in US (Connecticut). Flowers & message of condolence were sent on behalf of the school to the service (5th Jan)
