Although this is one of the most
photographed and painted scenes in Great Ayton, and probably North Yorkshire
as well, it is such a beautiful spot and worthy of a place in these
pages.

Station Road - with the Mill (replacement) red-roofed buildings on the left, with Rawdon
House in the background.

time of year, but before any demolition and rebuild got underway.
