Madam Chairman, Old Scholars and Friends,

I am pleased to present the Accounts for the year ended 31st March 2001.

You will see that we have a deficit for the year of £595. However, as you will recall, when the school closed in 1997 we gave 3 years free membership to all the children and staff. This year is the final year, so in future we will not have the cost of producing and posting the `free' magazines. The expenses should be about £400 less, substantially reducing possible future deficits.

The current Balances are:
General Fund  £5,403
Life Fund  £11,501
Current A/Cs  £409

Can I again thank all the District Secretaries for their help in collecting the Annual Subscriptions and Eric Rodham for his work as Auditor.

Clifford Weschenfelder Hon. Treasurer
