I only received one e-mail directly, the rest came from Arthur Grainge and his contacts in ‘friendsreunited’, relating to OS from the 90s, which came from DORTHE B. JENSEN …… “ I was at Ayton from 1990-93, my sisters INGE and ANNE were there from 1991-93. In 1993 we moved to Scotland where our parents still live, but all three of us now seem to be favouring Denmark where we originally come from. After finishing my Highers in ’97 I took a year out to do various things: a language course in Denmark, au pair in Belgium and temp work in Edinburgh. In 1998 I started at Aalborg University in Denmark and I’ve just graduated (summer 2001 –Ed.) as a Bachelor of Business Languages (English and French). It’s been three excellent years here in Aalborg, so I’ve decided to keep studying for a while and in September I start a Masters in French and marketing…. Inge did her standard grades in Scotland and then returned to Denmark and went to college. After graduating last summer, she moved back to Scotland and she has been working in Edinburgh this past year, but is moving to Aalborg in August. At the moment she is travelling round Spain. My youngest sister, Anne, stayed in Scotland and has just finished her Highers. She, too, will be moving to Denmark to attend a folk high school, but first, she, too, is travelling around Europe (Interrail.) From Arthur Grainge via ‘friendsreunited’ AMY DUTTON (1990-91) Went to Lancaster Uni and did Theatre Studies and English. Now working for The National Youth Orchestra and living in Bristol.
