‘I have been in touch with many of those ex-Aytonians who have located this website and left messages on it. They were hoping to make contact with other old scholars but that would not be possible if they have not paid a fee to allow them e-mail access. A few of them are known to us either by their AOSA membership or they are "in the books" as it were, as non-members. Sorry folks, unless you were very subtle, the `friends reunited' website suppressed your e-mail addresses, these came through only if you replied directly to my own note.' Arthur Grainge. Arthur worked on the Ayton news which came to him through `friendsreunited' during the summer and early autumn of 2001. It would be a wonderful boost to our membership as well as a fitting memorial to him if all of these OS were ultimately to join our Association.
