This looks like a serious mixed doubles match - spinning
the racket to see who serves - on the hard courts before they rebuilt as all
weather. Roger Carr (1940-43) tells us that the photo was for a School Prospectus
and taken in 1942, and has provided some of the names here: L to R - ??; Peter
Cosgrove; Barbara Burrows; Gavin Pitkethly; Roger Carr and ??. Can you recognise
