Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June 1988
- the AOSA Centenary Reunion - held in the School grounds. The
Marquee - shown left - was Reunion HQ, centre of activities and
dining room.

Predictably, the number of OS who turned up for
the weekend was high. Here a small number, about to take a
conducted tour of the School, talk with Evelyn Nicholson - centre
right with her back to the camera. |

Throughout the weekend an army of
volunteers, both old scholars and parents, worked very hard
preparing and serving a number of absolutely delicious buffet
lunches and suppers.

On Saturday evening OS, parents and the
school were hugely entertained by a traditional POP. There were
twenty sketches, recitals and songs - with a Suggitt's Ices
interval.
Here Roy George as Master of Ceremonies - in period dress -
announces another act.

Roger and Joyce Spinks came on in the
second half of the programme. Their sketch was entitled
"I
Believe there's a Fire."
Joyce recalls that, even after extensive rehearsal, Roger decided
to ad lib which threw her a bit and caused a fit of giggles.

The Dynamic Duo! Chris Scaife and Clifford
(Taffy) Morgan singing "The Two Gendarmes."
Many will remember this hilarious act.
Staff acts were always a feature of POPs and they showed what good
actors they were. But isn't that a prerequisite of teaching?
